Another Intermezzo

Hello.

I got very busy lately I can't make any artworx. Currently I am doing my project and my paper as a condition to finish my college. It is great yet tiring to have the project, but I will do my best!

I am also getting ready for my apprentice. It is a little hard to get a place that opens for, and a few days ago I got a way to. Wish me luck, everyone! I will thank you :*

Ah, we are near with the new year!

Another Long Hair

I made an artworx of long hair again here. I thought brunette was better but I can not handle myself to color it yellow. And I supposed to upload it yesterday but I got the chance today.

I made another version which does not have black line around the body area. But I did not blend the line with the inner color, as I did in "That Flat Stare", so this one was finished a bit faster.

Phew!

To finish this mixed-style artworx, I had to prepare 30 cropped parts of different styles of my last artworx. So first thing first I played with the filter menu a bit and change the composition of it and create different kinds like this:

Almost forgot to mention, I gave additional pattern on the background. I thought the background was very plain and not on the same track with the theme so I put abstract lines. They always help me. And this is the final result:

Shopping Bags

I made something colorful again this time. After I had it done, I directly remember one of my old artworx, where a girl surrounded by gifts was there. This girl is surrounded by shopping bags and they are not as arranged as the gifts in the old picture. Well, I didn't manage to make a similar theme purposely so this is purely a coincidence. :)

The background is so plain =.=

This Candy Tastes Heavenly!!!

I am not that much snacking candies. In fact, I avoid them a little. But last night my mother bought this pack of milk candies and it tastes very, very delicious! What I love from this candy is the taste that not as sweet as common candies (yeah, I don't like sweet food) and my mother does so. I can taste a lot of milk in this cute candy!

Royal Princess

This picture is made on the same paper with this one. It took me a long, long time to erase the writings and  unnecessary lines around it. The main inspiration of this picture is golden chain, which are attached on the hat, the neck part of the cloak, and the belt. Red is surely for the cloak, but I could not decide what was the perfect color for the rest parts so I left them mostly in white.

Oh yeah, I played with the filter a bit.

Runway #4

The last designs of my Spring/Summer 2013 Runway series are here! Fairy-themed dresses and brunettes and still hold on the color pale-green as the addition color. Ah, yes, there are no black visor here. I was a bit doubt to put those on on these models.

Runway #3

The next runway-themed designs still use pink and pale green as the main colors and big black sunglasses as the accessories. I am not that much able to make full-of-details costumes (perhaps most of you realized it); the most detailed costume designs I make are usually laced or layered.

Runway #2

The coloring technique I applied here is different with the steps I used to have. Here I used brush and layers and colored them a little bit dirty and purposely let the color off the lines. Previously, I wanted to have a water-colored-like result but it seems like I have to learn it further.. so this is what I got.

FYI:
Personally I don't like multicolor dresses. They are okay, but I prefer plain ones or those with almost unnoticeable patterns. But when I was in progress making these designs, there was a desire to combine pink and light green to be a very soft ombre. Couldn't get that 'very soft ombre', though..

Runway #1

Remember that runway dream I had in a class? Well, here is one of those designs. Inspired by teen magazines where some photographs of a boutique's collections usually exists.

Different coloring techniques!!

Oops, there is a miscoloring on the left sleeve! :p

Guitarist

I had joined a music band of mine with my classmates where I was positioned as a bass player. We are not play regularly since we were not so serious about growing this music band. However, playing music and being watched by the other friends is such a precious moment to have. That is where I got the inspiration of this artworx from. (The girl in the picture is not me; I am way far from skinny size :p) (and I can not play guitar).

Hair Colorant: Result

My haircut is asymmetric. It is shorter on the right side and longer on the left side. On this picture I meant to expose the difference between my colored hair and the uncolored one.

The longer hair was supposed to be purplish. But if we take a look really closely, we can see the longer hair is slightly lighter than the other side with its brown hue. Since I did not bleach my hair, I can accept it (and I have to find a brighter purple color for my hair).

p.s: I wrote anything about my hair colorant not as an advertisement.

Hair Colorant

For the first time in my life, I change my hair color with a permanent hair-colorant. The first-and-last moment I used hair colorant was when I was in grade ten, and it was semi-permanent sprayer colorant (it disappears after I wash my hair).

My hair color is black/ dark brown, the kind of hair color that often exists in Asia. Before I got a chance to change its color, I loved to imagine my hair in unusual colors, like purple or magenta. That's why I chose purple colorant when I was in grade ten, and another purplish colorant for my latest hair color.

It is a brand of hair colorant in Indonesia. My semi-permanent colorant was from this brand, too.

In the package.

Purple Red.
  • Natural Black
  • Blue Black
  • Copper Hazel
  • Purple Red
  • Dark Ash
  • Dark Blue
  • Chocolate Brown
  • Passion Red
  • Dark Mahogany Brown
  • Irise Red
  • Coffee Purple
  • Bright Brown Red
  • Golden
  • Copper Golden Blonde
  • Violet Mahogany
  • Wild Berry
  • Maple Poliage Red

FYI, I didn't bleach my hair. It is something I avoid after I receive some advice from here and there, though I know that bleaching will make the color more attractive and I know that there is possibility for me to have a change of heart. As a result, I got the color almost unseen..

I re-colored my hair today. Maybe I'll post the result picture later, maybe not. Hahah!

Sneak Peek! ;)

I did it again in a class this morning. I put on my focus half for the class matter and the rest for my own desk. Had an imagination of having my own runway with the certain theme for Summer/Spring 2013. It's kinda funny since I drew them all at the same moment directly by a gel pen, not by a pencil as usual, and I had to avoid any big mistake in the progress.

By the way, the theme for this 'runway' is floral fairy. If anly I could write down my fashion line on each page.. The problem is, I don't have any. I once created a name for my fashion line, but it was so childish I can't stand it -_- . Let me keep it myself.

Tiara!!!

I wanted to buy a tiara for a long time but just did it yesterday in an accessories store. I was superhappy!! A tiara, even the fake one, is my dream thing since I was a little girl. I am not that princess-y in my daily life, in fact, I am living my life in my way which is not integrated with all those princess rules. But to have a tiara.. is truly a dream-comes-true.
See the blitz light on my glass? I removed it as clean as I can. My eye became a little bit unnatural (see below).

My right eye: fake eyelid, fake lashes, fake light (click to look closer).

So dreamy!!!

So...

I'm having hard days lately in my campus life. After I finished the "village project" I mentioned on some posts ago, now I have to focus on apprentice program and on making the last paper as a condition to graduate from this university. I have no topic for it yet, but I really want to graduate next year. I really want to!!!

Meanwhile, my apprentice program is still on the very early step. It will start after the company calls me in the next few days. (I hope they will accept me!)

And for the artworx, I have made some of them. Still sketches though -_- I will find a time to color them.

Mikey Way/ Paul Wesley?

I've been thinking about this since the first time I saw Paul Wesley on a drama series: They are mysterious and look alike each other! So I collected their pictures and made a comparison like this.

I like them, FYI :3

No, I Did not Have Anything to Do in the Classroom

There are moments when I can't keep my mind focus in a class, especially when it is a hot day that makes me sleepy, or when it is a cool day (that makes me sleepy too :p), or when the "quality time with the gank" comes all of sudden. Or, when there is a chance to create something and take a picture of it.

Can you spot the tiny little pink flower?

It was a sunny morning when I was in Philosophy of Science class. And I took a picture of this:

Request! From My Childhood Friend!

I am really sorry for being late to post this. It is actually a request that I received at the late 2010 from my childhood friend, Mbak Amel. Back at the time, after she asked me to create her an artworx of her based on her profile picture on Facebook, I did it as soon as I can. I also uploaded the result on my Facebook as usual. But to make a post about it here.. it was totally out of my head that I just realized a few moments ago.

So here I show you.

This artworx is based on:

Scarf Girl #2

This is another Scarf Girl appearance in my short story I wrote months ago. I put her in more sporty look in a pair of light-blue jeans and long sleeves. The interest point is her scarf, which is applied with fake roses (in my imagination, they are made from cloth or ribbons). A couple months after I finished the story, one of my friends told me that she found a unique scarf in a store with the same characteristics as this scarf! Too bad she didn't meant to buy it.. and when I visited that store they were not there anymore D: D:

Details of makeup, hair, and scarf.

Details of jeans (I know it's not that important :p)
