Mikey Way/ Paul Wesley?

I've been thinking about this since the first time I saw Paul Wesley on a drama series: They are mysterious and look alike each other! So I collected their pictures and made a comparison like this.

I like them, FYI :3

No, I Did not Have Anything to Do in the Classroom

There are moments when I can't keep my mind focus in a class, especially when it is a hot day that makes me sleepy, or when it is a cool day (that makes me sleepy too :p), or when the "quality time with the gank" comes all of sudden. Or, when there is a chance to create something and take a picture of it.

Can you spot the tiny little pink flower?

It was a sunny morning when I was in Philosophy of Science class. And I took a picture of this:

Request! From My Childhood Friend!

I am really sorry for being late to post this. It is actually a request that I received at the late 2010 from my childhood friend, Mbak Amel. Back at the time, after she asked me to create her an artworx of her based on her profile picture on Facebook, I did it as soon as I can. I also uploaded the result on my Facebook as usual. But to make a post about it here.. it was totally out of my head that I just realized a few moments ago.

So here I show you.

This artworx is based on:

Scarf Girl #2

This is another Scarf Girl appearance in my short story I wrote months ago. I put her in more sporty look in a pair of light-blue jeans and long sleeves. The interest point is her scarf, which is applied with fake roses (in my imagination, they are made from cloth or ribbons). A couple months after I finished the story, one of my friends told me that she found a unique scarf in a store with the same characteristics as this scarf! Too bad she didn't meant to buy it.. and when I visited that store they were not there anymore D: D:

Details of makeup, hair, and scarf.

Details of jeans (I know it's not that important :p)

Scarf Girl #1

So I made this story about a boy who adores his classmate who always uses scarf everyday. It was only a short story, but I wrote the details of the girl's appearance in every certain moments. This is her first appearance in the story where she uses simply green-and-white costumes completed with a green leather bag. I got the inspiration for the top and the skirt from one of Christian Dior's designs, and from a Korean drama "My Destiny" for the bag.

She's got a blue-highlighted hair

Inspiration was from here. I did not copy the design for any commercial business, I used it as a guide to create a costume for my character in my artwork :)
Thank you, Christian Dior

I can't find the picture of the bag in the series :c

That Flat Stare

This is a simple picture, I had no specific detail to draw. For this boring picture I added some techniques in editing it to be more attractive. Well, at least, to me.

Uncolored
First edited version

The difference is only the background

My fave! :D

I love glowing effect

This is the hardest part of the editing, where I put myself stuck in changing the black line then blending the colors. Still looks stiff.

I like this one too, after the 'blending' version

Glow glow glow!
The 'blending' version was surely hard to me. I couldn't finish it in a day. I changed the black lines into other colors, depend on the surround colors where the lines were. Maybe there are easier ways to do something like that, but as far as I know, this is the only way to do. Poor me -_-

I Miss The Rainbow

To be honest, I found myself stuck in the progress of coloring this artworx, especially on the scarf and on the outerwear.

The detail of the outfits. If you look at the date.. yep, this is an old artworx..

Still about the glow..

I'm so in love with those glowing effects! In this post I will show another picture of mine that I edited with the glow effect and become a piece of picture that reminds me of the pictures on the credit title of movie "Beastly". Yeah, I really love that movie! Too bad my picture's editing result is not too similar with the movie's.
  1. Original picture
  2. Cropping
  3. Adjust the color level, then Diffuse Glow
  4. Crop again to make a smaller one
  5. Layering

Glowing is A Romantic Effect

Since I knew there are phone applications that can instantly give effects to any picture we captured, I taught myself to find the way to create the effects as those, in Photoshop. I am not a fast learner, so it took time for me to. Finally I found the right way to create the effects I want. I only had to make the pictures more glowing in pale yellow or another pale colors (so far I had used pale yellow and pale pink).

She's one of the gank members

There was a detergent brand written on some areas on the umbrella :p

It is the same umbrella.

This is where I put pale pink on

This is my favorite picture. I had planned to edit it since I captured it. They are my shoes under my friend's feet.

Sorry!

I just realized how long I didn't post anything here. It's a month! Now I prepare myself to post something here after all of the business related to my campus's program done. "Done" means:

  • I don't have to stay in the village
  • I am home
  • I will be back to my daily routine soon
  • I can post anything (perhaps there wil be more than usual)

Leaving from the village is not an easy job to do. The chidren has had those memorable moments with us, and so their parents, so there was so much tears dropped at the last day we stayed there.

Here I put some of my pictures when I was there :) (I photoshoped them to increase my mood)

The first time we observed the area. One of the member of the team captured this.

Some member of the team, include me, taught the moslem children in the mosque every Saturday - Thursday.

Her name is Dewi.

Girls of the team.
