Enjoying The Bread I Baked (Ramadan Mubarak!)

[INA + ENG]

Halo! Selamat datang kembali di blogku. Kali ini artworkku terinspirasi dari roti. Sebenernya artwork ini udah terkonsep sejak akhir tahun lalu, tapi kayaknya lumayan relevan lah ya untuk bulan puasa gini. Ngomong-ngomong, gimana puasanya? Lancar?

Hello! Welcome back to my blog. This time my artwork is inspired by bread. It's actually concepted by the end of last year, but I think it's still relevant with the fasting month now. Speaking of which, how's your fasting? Smooth?

When I was concepting this artwork I ate a lot of homemade bread. Especially when the bread was baked by me, there's a special sensation in it. 🥰 Even though I'm not that often to bake, I still got a specific satisfaction when I put some effort on some flour to be something edible.

From my baking routines I was moved to make an artwork with earthy tones. The result shows cottagecore aesthetic lol...

Aku banyak pakai warna hijau di sini. Dari awal aku udah berniat mau bikin motif bunga kuning kecil-kecil di bajunya, jadi supaya segar aku kasih warna hijau tua.

I used green a lot here. Since the early progress I have decided to draw a floral pattern with small yellow flowers on the dress, so to make it look fresh I put on dark green.

Ramadan mubarak!

In this month of fasting I actually have a lot of stories to tell, but I think it would be better if I tell about it on different artworks lol. Ramadan mubarak!
