A hurt feeling is one of those things we don't want to exist in our life. However, everything happens and our emotions spice them up so that we develop feelings: happiness, sorrow, disappointment... Would we be stronger without one of those feelings, say, hurt? I don't think so.
The thin girl I drew here was beaten hard deep inside her heart. Yes she was crying for hours until she messed up her make up, but then she could decide on how to protect herself and prevent herself from getting down again. As Lenka said in her song Trouble is A Friend, yes, trouble is a meanie friend.
