One day, my friend Putut uploaded a picture of a beautiful flower when he was at a place he concealed. The flower was red and has many 'strings' with small petals in its inner part. It was red spider lily, or higanbana.
Higanbana symbolizes death, separation, lovers that never meets. Inspired by them, I created this determined girl looking over her shoulder as if there was a portal to a demon world, while holding her baseball bat, with higanbanas around her feet. So far this is the proudest artwork I created this year that everytime I think of uploading it I get nervous. I hope you like it too!
